NFL Picks: Carolina vs. Arizona
Take Arizona Cardinals

1* on Arizona Cardinals -4 Arizona is without starting QB Matt Leinart Sunday. It won’t matter as this offense has actually been more effective with Kurt Warner leading the troops. Arizona is on a roll right now and playing with tremendous confidence. They are likely to get back Anquan Boldin at Wide Receiver which will give Warner even more options to throw to Sunday. Carolina is 1-8 ATS after playing their last game on the road over the last 3 seasons. Another road trip to Arizona will take its toll Sunday afternoon. We bet against the road team in Carolina off an upset win as an underdog in weeks 5 through 9. This is a 35-10 Situation over the last 5 seasons with a 78% cash rate at our hands. Carolina won’t be able to escape with back-to-back wins in Arizona this week. David Carr just doesn’t have what it takes at QB to lead the Panthers. Take Arizona and lay the points.

NFL Picks: Minnesota vs. Chicago
Take Chicago Bears

1 Unit on Chicago Bears -5 The Bears big win at Green Bay gave them the lift they have been looking for. We expect them to win relatively easy at home against the Vikings this week. All Minnesota has is Adrian Peterson as Tavaris Jackson has been terrible at QB this season. Jackson has completed 30-of-56 passes for only 329 yards and one touchdown, and he’s thrown five interceptions. The Bears are going to make Jackson beat them and it’s not going to happen. Lay the points.

NFL Picks: Tennessee vs. Tampa Bay
Take Tennessee Titans

1 Unit on Tennessee Titans +3 The Tennessee Titans will roll right over the Tampa Bay Bucs Sunday. Tampa Bay will be without running backs Cadillac Williams and Michael Pittman. The talent drops off tremendously without those two RB’s in the backfield. Tennessee will be able to load up defensively and pressure QB Jeff Garcia all day, forcing multiple turnovers. Vince Young just knows how to get his team in the end zone behind a pounding running game and a timely passing attack. Tennessee is 12-1 ATS in their last 13 games as an underdog. One of these days the linesmakers will learn not to overlook the Titans. Until then, we will keep cashing in with Tennessee catching points. Cash in with Tennessee as the Underdog.

NFL Picks: New England vs. Dallas
Take Dallas Cowboys

3* on Dallas Cowboys +6 A Super Bowl preview? Maybe. The marquee matchup of the NFL season. No question. The high-flying New England Patriots put their perfect record on the line when they visit the undefeated Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Dallas is coming off a game they really should have lost. Now they have new life and a new-found enthusiasm heading into this huge game. New England has been great thus far, but they haven’t faced an offense as dynamic as the one Dallas offers. We will play on the underdogs after a game where they committed 3 or more turnovers against an opponent after 4 consecutive games with a turnover margin of +1 or better. This is a 51-22 ATS System hitting 70% over the last several seasons. Dallas had been great with their turnover margin before the Buffalo game. The Cowboys will sure up their turnovers and Tony Romo will learn from his mistakes to keep this game close. Dallas will win this one outright at home, but we will take the points to be sure. Bet the Cowboys.

NFL Picks: Cincinnati vs. Kansas City
Take Under
1 Unit on Bengals UNDER 42.5 The Bengals’ supposed high powered offense has not been anywhere near unstoppable this season. They were held to 21 points at Seattle and to 13 points against New England. Defense is winning the battle against the Bengals and it will again this week in Kansas City. Herman Edwards plays a grind-it-out style which runs clock and does not turn the ball over. This is very conducive of low scoring games. The Chiefs average total in its first 5 games has been 29.2ppg with a score only once going over the number we are faced with here. Take the UNDER.

NCAA Picks: Georgia Tech vs. Miami - FL
Take Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Georgia Tech +3 Miami endured its fourth ATS defeat in five games last week. In ACC play, Miami is just 4-8 ATS in its L12. Last week’s loss to UNC really hurts as the Canes have a tough schedule remaining. I believe it throws them off course this week. Georgia Tech has played well, but it just came up a hair short against Virginia and Maryland or the Jackets could be 5-1. Georgia Tech is 2-0 SU and ATS versus Miami over the last 2 seasons. Georgia Tech is the better team and it will prove to be so this week. Expect a defensive battle ultimately won by the Yellow Jackets.

NCAA Picks: Oregon St. vs. California
Take California Golden Bears

Cal -14 With USC losing last week, the 5-0 Cal Bears just got a boost that they weren’t even expecting as that loss by the Trojans opens the door for the Bears in the Pac 10 Conference race. Cal will show you their excitement by doing what they have done at home all season, and that’s blow out their opponent. Expect a career day out of DeSean Jackson. He caught 11 passes for 161 yards, both career highs, and his first two TDs of the year two weeks ago at Oregon. After a bye week, Cal will be ready to take the field feeling nice and fresh. The Bears win this one by 3 scores. Lay the points.

NCAA Picks: South Carolina vs. North Carolina
Take North Carolina Tar Heels

1* on North Carolina +7.5 The oddsmakers fail to give North Carolina any respect here despite their huge win over the Miami Hurricanes last season. The Tar Heels are no longer a bottom feeder in the ACC and you will see Saturday. North Carolina held a 27-0 lead on Miami last week before having to sweat it out. Look for the focus this week to be on playing a 60-minute game and for the Tar Heels to hang in the whole way. South Carolina is just 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games against the ACC. North Carolina holds a 34-1 lifetime advantage over South Carolina. They have not met for a long time but this is still a very powerful trend. The Tar Heels are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as an underdog. The Tar Heels are 11-4-1 ATS in their last 16 games in October. Take North Carolina and the points.

NCAA Picks: Western Michigan vs. Northern Illinois
Take Northern Illinois Huskies

1 Unit on Northern Illinois +4 Northern Illinois have not been very impressive this season, but there is no reason for the Huskies to be receiving 4 points on their home turf Saturday. Western Michigan is just 2-4 on the season while giving up 47.3 points per game on the road. The oddsmakers have made the mistake of putting too much stock in Western Michigan and now it’s time to capitalize on Northern Illinois. The Huskies are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games against Western Michigan. The home team is 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings. The W. Michigan Broncos are 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games as a road favorite of 3.5-10.0. The Huskies are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games as a home underdog. Cash in with Northern Illinois as the underdog.

NCAA Picks: Oklahoma St. vs. Nebraska
Take Nebraska Cornhuskers

3* on Nebraska -4 Nebraska will bounce back after getting embarrassed by Missouri last week. The Cornhuskers will win with the inspiration of their home fans at their side. The home team is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 meetings between the Oky State Cowboys and Nebraska Cornhuskers. Nebraska is 13-4 ATS in their last 17 games against poor pass defense allowing a completion percentage of 58% or higher. The Cornhuskers put the ball in the air a ton and will be able to move the ball at will against this weak Cowboys’ secondary. Nebraska is 24-9 ATS in home games in October. The Cornhuskers are 15-2 ATS after failing to cover the spread in 4 or 5 of their last 6 games. The Cornhuskers bounce back Saturday on their home turf. Bet Nebraska.
