QB Case Keenum elected to come back to school for his senior season so he can rewrite the college football passing record books. He’ll surpass almost every major record this season if he stays healthy. The question is whether he can lead the Cougs to a BCS bowl bid. We tend to believe not. Between road games at UCLA, Rice, SMU, Southern Miss, and Texas Tech, and home dates with UCF and Tulsa, someone is bound to pick Houston off, especially if it doesn’t improve upon a defense which allowed 451.3 yards per game in 2009.
