There will be an immense amount of pressure on whomever is trying to call the shots under center for Northwestern now that QB Mike Kafka is gone. Kafka was regularly called upon to throw the pigskin 40+ times in a game last year, and no rushers had more than 350 yards on the ground. The defense isn’t good enough to carry the Cats to another eight win campaign. Bowl eligibility would be a great goal to reach for in Evanston.
