2010 UConn Huskies Predictions
Just as Schiano has built a nice program with the Scarlet Knights, HC Randy Edsall is doing the exact same thing with his Huskies. Though he is considered a bit of a longshot, RB Jordan Todman is on the Heisman watch list coming into this season after he rumbled for 1,188 yards last season. Todman, now a junior, is no longer going to have to split carries with the departed Andre Dixon. The two of them toted the rock 474 times between them a year ago. Though we know that Todman won’t touch the ball over 400 times this year, 325 or so seems possible. At 5.1 yards per carry as he averaged in 2009, that would be over 1,650 yards. The Big East needs to watch its back, as the Huskies could become the top dogs in the conference in a hurry.
