2012 Air Force Falcons Football Predictions & BCS Championship Odds
2012 Air Force Falcons Predictions
Odds to win BCS Championship: 12-1 (Field)
(2011: 7-6 SU, 6-7 ATS). Ret. starters: (Off: 3, Def: 3).
The Falcons need to find another quarterback as they have to replace Tim Jefferson (1637yds pass, 553yds rush) and will replace him with Connor Dietz (6-0, 190), who has started three games. Senior FB Wes Cobb (425yds) will move to tailback to replace Asher Clark (1,110yds). They return just two starters on the offensive line and all the other skill players are inexperienced. On defense, they are led by senior OLB Alex Means (6-5, 230), who had 77 tackles, 6 sacks and three forced fumbles last year. The defensive front seven returns Means and that’s it. The secondary, which finished sixth nationally in pass defense last year, must replace two all-conference players. Junior FS Anthony Wooding (57tckls) is the only returning starter. Sounds like a rebuilding year
