Gotta love Miami here getting points in a rare underdog position on Wednesday. This is the first time this season that the Heat have been getting points. The Bulls have not been great as slim favorites and this team is 3-5 ATS as a favorite under 4.5 points. This is the same Heat team that was beating everybody by double digits a couple weeks ago. They have been in a “slump” lately, losing three of their last six and covering only one game during that stretch. But one of those losses was by one point in Utah and one was last night in OT in Orlando. This “slump” would be considered a good stretch for a lot of teams in the league! For last night’s game we assume the Heat were looking ahead to tonight’s matchup. This is their main adversary in the Eastern Conference and the Heat will bring their best game tonight. We all saw what they did to the Bulls in the playoffs last year when they were playing their best. Even though Miami comes in on a back-to-back they had a couple nights off before last night’s game against Orlando and we think that kind of minimizes the effect of the B2B. We think we will see both teams at their best tonight and at their best the Heat can beat the Bulls either home or away.
