On Monday the free play in College hoops is on Saint Marys CA. Game 513 at 10:00 eastern. ST.Marys is 20-4 after scoring 80 or more points in their last game, 14-2 in the month of November and 34-7 when playing out of conference, including 5-0 the last few years against WAC teams. San Jose State is 7-23 long term as a home dog in this range and 06 after scoring 77 or more in their last game. Saint Marys is a better team with more talent and should polish off San Jose State in the later stages of this game. On Monday in late phone action I have the 17-1 Double system NFL Game as the lead play tonight which goes along side a solid 14-2 NBA Dominator system. Last week was another big week overall and we cashed the big AFC 5 star total on the over in the KC at Sandiego game. Jump on and start your week on the right side. I will be in studio doing the sports radio show with Bandbox host Anthony Pierno at 7:45 eastern taking you right up until game time at 8:30 eastern on 88.9 Wsia.fm. I will have another free radio show pick as well for those who want to listen in. For the free play take St.Marys. RV

Big schedule on the College Hoop hardwood today, but not a lot of the top teams in action, as most played earlier this week in Holiday tournaments. Villanova and Purdue are the only top 10 teams in action, and both should record easy wins today. ‘Nova will take on LaSalle in a Big 5 battle, while Purdue hosts Central Michigan. Good luck and enjoy.

On Friday the free play is on Illinois in college hoops. Game 785 at 10:30 eastern. Illinois has better shooting stats than Utah both offensively and defensively. Illinois is hitting at 52% from the field compared to Utah at 44%. In field goal percentage allowed Illinois is allowing opponents to shoot a solid 37% and Utah is allowing 41%. When takng on Mountain West Conference opponents Illinois has won all three times the past few years. More impressively that are 14-0 straight up covering 11 of 14 times when they are a neutral court favorite from 6.5 to -9. The Utes are just 5-15 as underdogs. Illinois is cut above Utah this time and should get the job done here tonight. In late phone action I have a Huge 96% College Football revenge GOY on the Friday afternoon card as well as a big NBA Blowout game on the night card. These plays lead another solid card. On Thursday we cashed both NFL plays with Denver and Dallas, congrats to those who jumped on. Today the big run continues with these Cutting Edge system plays. Take Illinois tonight in college hoops. College Basketball: UCLA vs. Portland Odds & Picks: November 26th 2009

The Portland Pilots are a senior laden team that is off to a 3-0 start and just beat Oregon at home, but while the UCLA Bruins are much younger, we feel their athleticism and the fact that this is practically a home game in Anaheim should be enough to get the safe win here.

In fact, this is an excellent eight-team field assembled for the 76 Classic, as it includes four teams currently ranked in the top 25 (West Virginia, Clemson, Butler, Minnesota), and if either the Bruins or the Pilots can go deep in this tourney, it would be a great jump-start tom their year and it would bode well for their chances in March.

While the Pilots are 3-0, it should be noted that they opened with a couple of cupcakes in Eastern Washington and Seattle University, and while the 88-81 victory over Oregon was more significant, it did come at home and Portland was actually a slight favorite in that game. The fact that they allowed 81 points to a seemingly outclassed Seattle team before allowing 81 again to Oregon is a big red flag coming into what should be their toughest test of the early season.

Now the Bruins were upset by CS Fullerton in their opener, but keep in mind that UCLA lost four starters from last season, so we will forgive them for that slow start. They did rebound with a nine-point win over Santa Barbara and a 19-point romp over Pepperdine, and they have continued to play their trademark defense despite the large turnover in personnel, allowing only 61.3 points per game on a scant 40.6 percent shooting.

We look for that defense to slow the Pilots down and key the victory in front of a mostly supportive crowd.

CBB Free Pick: UCLA -5 (-110)

Free College Basketball Pick: Western Carolina +2 (Wunderdog Sports)
Something will give here as both of these teams are off to good starts to open the season. Duquesne owns an impressive win over Iowa, but really struggled their last time on the floor vs. little-known Arkansas-Monticello, needing overtime to steal a two-point win. The Catamounts have taken three of four and lost, as expected, to Texas. What might be noteworthy here is that the Dukes beat Binghamton by 18 points while the Catamounts blew them out by 30, a common opponent, with the results very appealing to the Catamounts. Melquan Bolding won’t play for the Dukes as after scoring 25, he broke his wrist and will miss four weeks or so, leaving a hole in the offense. The Dukes are not very impressive off a straight-up win at just 4-10 ATS in their last 14 and without Bolding, they could be in trouble here. I’m going with Western Carolina.

Free College Basketball Pick: Arizona State +10 (John Ryan)
Ai Simulator 3* graded play on Arizona State as they take on Duke set to start at 9:25 EST. AiS shows a 73% probability that ASU will lose this game by 10 or fewer points. This is the sem-final round taking place at Madison Square Garden. Supporting this graded play is a system that has gone 47-18 ATS for 72% winners since 1997. Play on neutral court teams as a dog after a blowout win by 30 points or more facing an opponent after leading in their previous game by 15 or more points at the half. AiS also shows a 92% probability that ASU will have between 10 and 13 turnovers. Note that they are a perfect 7-0 ATS (+7.0 Units) in road games when they commit 10 to 13 turnovers in a game over the last 2 seasons. ASU is also 15-5 ATS (+9.5 Units) after playing 2 consecutive games as favorite over the last 2 seasons. Duke shot very well in their last game, but it sets them up poorly for this game. Note that HC Krzyzewski is just 8-19 ATS (-12.9 Units) in road games after a game where they made 50% of their 3 point shots or better as the coach of Duke. Take ASU.

Big night in College Hoops tonight with a few tourneys wrapping up before the Thanksgiving holiday. The Maui Invitational final will feature Cincinnati and Gonzaga in what should be a good one. The 3′rd place game between Maryland and Wisconsin is expected to be a good game as well. Kentucky takes on Stanford in the final of their tournament as well. Kentucky cruised by a pretty good Cleveland State club last night while Stanford beat Virginia. Good luck and enjoy.

A full night of action in College Hoops tonight, highlighted by the Maui Invitational, as they hit their second day. The winners bracket will feature two pretty good games as Wisconsin takes on Gonzaga and Maryland will battle Cincninnati. The winners face off in the title game tomorrow night on the island. Pittsburgh takes on #3 Texas in the finals of their tournament as well. Kentucky has a rare road game tonight in Cleveland against last year’s tournament surpise team, Cleveland State. Good luck and enjoy.

College Basketball Betting: Delaware vs. Siena Odds & Pick: November 24th 2009

Delaware vs. Siena
Free Pick: Delaware +19 -110 odds
Visit Touthouse.com for more expert college basketball picks from Alex Smart

The Siena Saints have to be angry with the fact that they lost to the strongest opponent on their schedule to date when they lost to the Temple Owls over the weekend, but on Tuesday night, the Delaware Blue Hens are going to get the better of the ATS proceedings.

The Saints are inevitably going to score their points against a Delaware team that has struggled defensively this season. However, out of the blocks this season, there has to be some concern about how the loss of G Kenny Hasbrouck has affected the offense. Averaging 71.0 points per game won’t cut it for a team that is hoping to make a lot of noise out of the Metro Atlantic this season, and neither will a 25.8% shooting percentage from downtown. The Saints are also going to have to shoot free throws better to cover numbers, as 64.5% from the charity stripe leaves a lot to be desired.

The Blue Hens are coming off of an awful season, but down the stretch of the year, they started to figure it out by beating a bunch of team that they maybe had no business beating. Delaware was fantastic in out-of-conference play against mid-majors last season, going 5-0 ATS in their first five games of the ’08-’09 season. Even though they were blown away by Temple and Bucknell, a 97-94 victory for the Blue Hens has to be encouraging.

Delaware is also 7-2 ATS in its L/9 conference games, while Siena is 0-7 ATS in its L/7 against teams from the Colonial Athletic Conference. These two teams haven’t met in recent memory, but Delaware is 3-0 SU against the Saints since ’97. The Blue Hens probably won’t win it in Albany, but expect to see this game a heck of a lot closer than the oddsmakers are banking on. Book it!!!

Play: Delaware Blue Hens

NCAA Basketball Betting: Flordia A&M vs. Rider Odds & Pick: November 24th 2009

Florida A&M vs. Rider

There is almost nothing better than getting up in the morning and tuning in to some early college hoops during the holiday season, and that is the case here when the Florida A&M Rattlers face the Rider Broncs with an 11:00 AM ET tip-off at Cancun, Mexico.

This may seem like a high spread at first glance, but we feel that it is justified as we see Rider winning this contest by at least 20 points. The Bromcs have been bridesmaids in the MAAC the last several years, and they are looking to take the next step this season.

They certainly made an immediate impression, going into Starkville and upsetting the Mississippi State Bulldogs 88-74 as 15-point underdogs in their season opener. Sure, they have now lost two straight, but those were on the road at Kentucky and Virginia, which is certainly forgivable. They will appreciate this drastic drop n class, and they will have the best player on the court in dominant senior guard Ryan Thompson.

While we feel that Rider us ready for some stiffer competition that past seasons, we do not feel the same is true about Florida A&M. The Rattlers are trying to build on their NCAA Tournament appearance, but they are off to an 0-4 start whle losing by a whopping average of -27.6 points per game. Granted, they have yet to play a home game, but their closest defeat was by 14 points at Cleveland State, and Rider does not represent a drop in class from CSU.

We look or Rider to make an impression in this tournament with a romp today.

CBB Free Pick: Rider -15.5 (-110)
