The Chiefs are coming off a very complete performance in 21-14 underdog win over San Diego. QB Matt Cassel completed 10-of-22 passes for 68 yards and one score, while RB Jamaal Charles paced the ground attack with 92 well fought yards and a TD. TE Tony Moeaki was Cassel’s go to guy in an offense that didn’t do much; he caught three passes for 21 yards including a TD reception. The Defense accumulated two sacks and a fumble recovery. The deciding factor in this game came at the end of the first half, when rookie sensation from Ole Miss Dexter McCluster scored the game winning TD on an electric 94-yard Punt Return.

Cleveland enters this game after a letdown in Tampa Bay losing 17-14. QB Jake Delhomme completed 20-of-37 passes for 227 yards with a TD/INT ratio of 1:2. RB’s Jerome Harrison and Patrick Hillis combined for 93 yards on the ground with a TD and a fumble lost. WR Chansi Stuckey led the team with four receptions, while Mohamed Massaquoi added the lone TD reception. The Browns defense forced QB Josh Freeman into throwing 1 INT and also recovered a fumble.

Since 2008, Kansas City has been poor in the role of underdog winning outright only seven times in their L/30 tries while posting a 16-14 ATS tally during that stretch. On the road in the L/2 seasons the Chiefs are 4-12 SU & 10-6 ATS. Cleveland has been a woeful host for NFL bettors going 4-12 SU & 7-8 ATS its L/16tries. These teams have played to the ‘over’ the L/5 meetings in this series.
