AFC South NFL betting action comes to you on Sunday, October 3rd from EverBank Field in Jacksonville, FL where the Jacksonville Jaguars will play host to the division rival Indianapolis Colts. Indy has won three of the L/4 meetings between these teams dating back to 2008 by an average of just over four PPG. Last season saw the Colts sweep the season series winning the first meeting in Indianapolis 14-12 as six-point favorites and covering and taking game two in Jacksonville 35-31 as three-point chalk.

Indianapolis comes into Week 4 with the 3rd ranked passing attack led by Peyton Manning who had a huge week again in Week 3. He threw for 325 yards and three touchdowns in a 27-13 win over Denver as 5.5-point chalk. WR Austin Collie had another big game hauling in 12 catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns. The 25th ranked ground game was non-existent again only rumbling for 40 yards. The offense converted 6-of-14 on third down and moved the chains 18 times. The ‘D’ recorded one sack and interception, but was torched to the tune of 523 yards of combined offense.

Jacksonville continues to fade and Week 4 won’t be any different against the Colts. They were blown out by Philadelphia 28-3 in Week 3 with QB David Garrard throwing for a measly 105 yards with one interception. The 16th ranked ground game was led by Maurice Jones-Drew who ran for 88 of the team’s 130 rushing yards. They converted only 29 percent of their third down attempts while moving the chains 16 times. The ‘D’ recorded three sacks and gave up 291 yards passing and 106 yards rushing.

Indianapolis is 7-1 ATS in its L/8 games as a favorite of three to 10 points, and stands 7-1 ATS its L/8 games when favored on the road. Overall, the Colts are 8-2 ATS their L/10 road games. The Jaguars are 3-1-1 in their L/5 games following a double-digit home loss, and 0-5 their L/5 games when dogged. The ‘Over’ is 4-1 in the L/5 meetings between these AFC South rivals.
