This is the first game for the Duke Blue Devils since they had their worst defensive performance of the year in a 101-87 loss to North Carolina, and we now look for them to take out their frustrations on the Boston College Eagles.

Even with that debacle, Duke is still ranked fifth in the nation in defensive efficiency according to the Pomeroy Ratings, and they are still allowing just 62.7 points per game on 40.7 percent shooting. Comparatively, Boston College is allowing 71.0 points per contest.

Now the Eagles have had some nice moments this year including an upset win at North Carolina, but oddly, they have actually played better on the road. They also enter this contest on a two-game losing steak both straight up and against the spread, including a home loss here to Clemson on Tuesday.

Finally, the Eagles are ranked just 66 by Pomeroy while Duke is ranked fourth, so look for a powerful bounce-back effort by the Blue Devils here.
