Idaho +4.0 (-110)

The Idaho Vandals may be just 5-17 straight up, but all five of those wins have come at home and they may have a surprise in store for the Fresno State Bulldogs tonight.
Fresno State had a losing 11-13 record as well, and they are just 2-9 SU on the road, making them a poor investment as road favorites. Fresno’s only two road wins have come against Division II Winston-Salem and against a Louisiana Tech team that is one of the very worst clubs in Division IA. Yes, the Billdogs squeaked out a 72-70 win here in Idaho last season, but they failed to cover that contest as road favorites, the exact same role they are in here.
Now the Vandals have lost four straight games, but three of those were on the road where they are 0-12 SU this year. They have been far more competitive at home, where they are actually outscoring their Division IA opponents by a scant +0.3 points per game. By comparison, Fresno State is being outscored by an average of -5.7 points per game on the road.
Finally, Idaho is now 3-1 against the spread in the last four head-to-head meetings including 2-0 at home, and we expect the Vandals to build on that this evening.

Stanford @ Arizona State u119.5 (-110)
Thu Feb 14 ‘08 10:30p
The PAC 10 leading Stanford Cardinal and their gaudy (20-3) mark invade Tempe to take on Head Coach Herb Sendek’s gritty Arizona State Sun Devils club. Stanford currently sits atop the P10 standings along with UCLA after both have attained 9-2 SU marks within the conference. UCLA holds the tiebreaker though after defeating them at the beginning of the New Year. ASU currently sits 3.5-games back with a 5-5 mark in conference play, and 15-7 overall record. Stanford has done a very solid job on the road this season by winning 7 of 9 games SU, and covering the spread in six of those contests. As for Arizona State, they boast a decent 11-2 SU mark at home and have been a $$$-maker in this venue as well by going 6-3 ATS.
Stanford was last in action last Saturday when they pummeled Oregon State by a 71-56 final count, but failed to cover the lofty 21.5-point home chalk. The spread loss snapped a 5-game ATS winning streak that started when they hosted these same Sun Devils back on January 19th. They were 8-point home favorites that game, and handed ASU the 67-52 road defeat. They then went on to win and cover three road games in a row at California, Washington, and Washington State in overtime. All in all, the Cardinal is hot winning 9 of their L/10 overall.
Arizona State beat in-state rival Arizona its last time out to sweep the season series. By doing so, they snapped a 5-game conference losing streak. The Sun Devils rallied from a 16-point first half deficit to claim the 59-54 road win and cover, and cashed big $$$-line tickets in the process. They’ll be looking to snap their 2-game home losing streak tonight, but they’ll have to be at their best to do so.
Stanford opened up as 4.5-point road chalks with the ‘Total’ set at 118.5. Overnight bettors believe ASU will carry the momentum over from their big win over the weekend as the game line now sits in the 3.5-4-point range.
Stanford has dominated ASU of late winning SU in 8 of their L/10 meetings, and covered the spread in six of those encounters. They’ve also taken care of business covering 5 of the L/7 meetings in Tempe. Total players take note: The Under is 5-1 ATS the L/6 times Stanford’s been installed a road favorite, and its cashed in 4 of the Sun Devils L/5 home games.
