Free MLB Picks: New York Yankees -135 over Toronto:
From where we sit, it looks like the Yankees are ready to take off in the competitive American League East. Getting A Rod back in the lineup will do wonders for everyone around him. In Fact, 1B Mark Teixeira looks like a different player these last few games, knocking in two last night in the Yanks 9-2 in over the Jays. CC Sabathia takes the hill for the pinstripes tonight, coming off of his best performance of the season Friday night in Baltimore, where he shout out the Orioles 4-0. This is the type of production the Yankees were hoping for when they signed the big lefty. Toronto counters with lefty Brian Tallet (2-1, 4.95), a converted reliever who has been pushed into the rotation with the multitude of injuries the Jays staff has had. Cito Gaston has really done a nice job with this team thus far, but we don’t see it continuing. Look for CC Sabathia to continue his winning ways tonight north of the border.

Free MLB Picks: OVER 9.5 Texas/Seattle:
What has happened to “King” Felix Hernandez these past few starts? After starting the year looking like the next Cy Young, Hernnadez has been lit up to the tune of 16 hits and 11 earned runs in just 10 innings. Not a positive trend going into a game against the highest scoring team in the majors. Speaking of the Rangers, their terrific lineup just got a little stronger as CF Josh Hamilton came off the diasbled list on Tuesday. He’s already homered in his first two games since his return. The AL West leading Rangers are rolling, and there’s no sign of them slowing down any time soon. Texas sends lefty Matt Harrison to the hill this afternoon. Harrison is coming off three straight strong outings and looks to improve on his 3-2 start. Harrison, however was 0-1 with a 6.97 ERA in two starts in 2008 vs. Seattle. Expect another high scoring affair this afternoon in Arlington.
