Milwaukee Bucks -9.0
Wed March 5 ‘08 8:05p

The Seattle Supersonics are off playing a very good Detroit Pistons team last night and will be on tired legs here in as they go to the court for the 3rd time in 5 nights against the Milwaukee Bucks . The Bucks have not exactly been a consistent team this season, but when playing on their own home court are always a team to be reckoned with. The Sonics have lost 14 of their L16 road games SU, while Milwaukee has won 3 of their L4 at home while covering 5 straight. Final notes & Key Trends: The home team has won 8 straight meetings SU in this series and more importantly covered 7 of those confrontations. Play on Milwaukee to cover

Florida Atlantic -5.0 (-110)
Wed March 5 ‘08 7:00p
Florida Atlantic lost both of its Sun Belt Conference games to in-state rival Florida International this season. However, look for the Owls to rebound tonight on their home floor in the opening round of the SBC Tournament. Florida Atlantic is 10-4 on its home court during the 2007-08 campaign and also 5-1 ATS coming off a straightup loss. Meanwhile, Florida International has had an uneventful season outside of its two victories over FAU this season, entering with a 9-19 overall mark and a 1-10 ledger on the road. I recommend laying the reasonable number of 5 and backing Florida Atlantic.

Wyoming +17.0
Wed March 5 ‘08 10:00p
BYU and Wyoming have a long history of competitive games. None of the last ten meetings have been decided by more than 14 points, but tonight’s pointspread is sitting at BYU -17 as I write this, a spread that looks a tad bit too high to this bettor. Wyoming is on a bit of an uptick, pulling off back-2-back wins against Utah and Colorado State; only their second two game winning streak of the season. But we’ve seen the Cowboys play competitive basketball on the road on a fairly consistent basis throughout the conference campaign.

Wyoming hung tough at UNLV, losing by only seven as 16 point underdogs. The Cowboys won outright at Utah as 14 point dogs. They covered the spread in a six point loss at Air Force and just beat Colorado State by ten in Ft Collins. With senior Brad Jones and junior Brandon Ewing providing a strong veteran presence in the backcourt, there’s no reason to expect a blowout loss tonight, even against a team with a remarkable 46 game home winning streak in Provo. And, after UNLV’s loss at New Mexico last night, the Cougars are sitting pretty with the #1 seed in the upcoming Mountain West tournament. BYU will win this game on senior night in Provo, but don’t expect them to win it by annihilating their foe by more than 17 points. (#781) Take Wyoming.
