Free Sports Picks August 28th, 2007MLB New York (N) vs. Philadelphia
Take Philadelphia Phillies
1 Unit on Philadelphia Phillies +112 (Listing Eaton Only) The Phillies are red hot at the plate right now and getting Chase Utley back yesterday is going to be a huge lift. Utley went 3 for 5 with a homer and a double in his debut against New York last night. This extra power and speed at the top of the line-up makes a big difference for Philly. Philadelphia is hitting .306 in their last 10 contests. They have put up 23 runs in their last 2 games combined. The Phillies are 7-1 in their last 8 home games vs. a left-handed starter. Tom Glavine is in for a beating. Take Philly.
NCAAF Colorado St. vs. Colorado
Take Colorado St. Rams
NCAA Football Colorado State vs Colorado Saturday September 1st, 2007 12:00 pm est 9:00 am pacific Line: Colorado State(+2 1/2, buy to +3 1/2) Rating: EZ Free Winner In this contest, my money is on the Colorado State Rams. This will be Sonny Lubick’s most experienced team ever in Fort Collins. The Colorado State Rams return 18 starters, including RB Kyle Bell, who suffered a season-ending injury prior to the opener last year. Let’s not forget that Bell had close to 1300 yards for the Rams in 2005. Colorado State also has the huge quarterback advantage. They have senior Caleb Hanie running the show while the Buffaloes have true frosh Cody Hawkins behind center, and he happens to be coach Dan Hawkins son. The underdog has ruled this series as they are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 meetings. Colorado State is one of the most improved teams in the country so I will gladly take the points here
MLB Arizona vs. San Diego
Take Arizona Diamondbacks
1 Unit on Arizona -148 (Listing Webb) We will ride the hottest pitcher in all of baseball tonight. Brandon Webb is 3-0 with a 0.72 ERA in his last 3 outings. The Diamondbacks are 6-0 in Webb’s last 6 starts overall. Arizona is 10-1 in their last 11 during Game 2 of a series. For some odd reason the D-Backs seem to settle down after Game 1 and deliver their best performances in Game 2. We will bank on it again tonight. Cash in with Arizona.
