The team has won the Music City Bowl the last two seasons, beating Clemson and Florida State. This will be the 13th bowl game showing for the Wildcats, who are 7-5 in such games. The Pirates have a 8-6 overall record in bowl games, and they narrowly beat Boise State by three points in last year’s Hawaii Bowl.
