Now we do not play Puck Lines very often, but we feel there is great value attached to the Calgary Flames -1.5 when they host the Montreal Canadiens tonight.

After all, the Canadiens have hit a tailspin after a great start this season, as they are just 2-7 in their last nine games. Furthermore, six of those seven losses were by two goals or more, as Montreal is really missing the injured duo of Robert Lang and Alex Tanguay. They will have difficulty matching the success they had vs. the Flames back in December, when they beat Calgary 4-1, without those pair of star performers.

Now granted, the Flames have lost four straight, but that all came vs. teams from the stronger Western Conference. Even with this losing streak, Calgary is still 30-18-4 for the season, which compares favorably to the Montreal record of 29-18-6, especially with the Flames facing a tougher schedule from top to bottom.

Throw in the revenge factor from December and some home ice, where Calgary is 19-7-3, and we look for the Flames to prevail by a multiple-goal margin.
