NBA Basketball Picks: November 20th, 2007
Free Sports Picks, NBA Basketball Picks November 20th, 2007NBA Picks: Toronto vs. Dallas
Take Dallas Mavericks
I like the Mavericks in this spot. Not only is Dallas perfect at home this season, with a spotless 5-0 record, but 4 of those 5 wins would handle this spread tonight and they are winning here at home on average by over 12 ppg. That’s not good news for a Raptors team who is winless against the Western Conference this season and has played all it’s games against the West on home court. That certainly will not improve on the road. Dallas 102, Toronto 92. Take Dallas

NBA Picks: San Antonio vs. Atlanta
Take San Antonio Spurs
1 Unit on Spurs -6.5 The young, inexperienced Hawks won’t be able to stand up to the veteran Spurs tonight. San Antonio is 13-6 ATS versus the Hawks the past 11 seasons. The Hawks are 8-22 ATS when the total is between 190 and 199.5 points over the last 2 seasons and 2-12 ATS after 3 or more consecutive overs over the last 2 seasons. Offensively the Hawks are due for a letdown and that will happen tonight against the Spurs who are only allowing 89.9ppg this season. The Hawks are giving up whopping 105.2ppg at home this season. San Antonio will have too many weapons for the Hawks to handle tonight. Lay the points as the Spurs win this one by double digits.

NBA Picks: Chicago vs. Denver
Take Denver Nuggets
These teams split last season, but Chicago has lost 7 of it’s last 8 games at Denver, which is always a difficult place to play(Nuggets are 4-1 here this season.) That doesn’t figure to improve tonight as the Bulls will once again be without Luol Deng, who also missed the Laker loss. Take Denver.

NBA Phoenix vs. Sacramento
Take Sacramento Kings
1 Unit on Sacramento +8 Sac is 4-1 straight up and 5-0 ATS at home this season and the books are still undervaluing these guys on their home floor. The Suns are just 9-23 ATS after 2 consecutive covers as a favorite over the last 3 seasons and is 59-103 ATS when playing against a bad team (Win Pct. 25% to 40%) since 1996. The books have consistently overvalued Phoenix on the road against bad teams because of its up-tempo play which scores lots of points. What Suns’ backers sometimes forget to take into consideration is that the Suns give up a lot of points too because they are not that committed to defense. We’ll take the points here.
