The Jazz are on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoff picture in the Western Conference, and a win at home tonight over Memphis would go a long way as far as getting back into the race.
The Grizzlies are coming off a loss to the Nuggets last night (if you follow my premium plays you would have cashed in a winner there). Memphis is in a tough spot tonight, playing on back to back nights, as well as a 3-in-4 situation.
The loss in Denver snapped a six game winning streak, and coming off an impressive run, the Grizz appear ready to experience a let down in a tough spot in their schedule.
The Jazz have won back to back home games, and they are a Jekyll and Hyde team, with an excellent record at home, and a terrible record on the road. Utah has lost six straight away from home, but the Jazz are 23-8 in Utah.
The Grizzlies fought hard in Denver last night, taking a lead into the fourth quarter, but blowing it in the final frame getting outscored 29-14. There isn’t likely going to be a lot left in the tank for Memphis just 24 hours later in Utah.
