Pao Gasol’s Game 6 tip-in with less than a second left against the Oklahoma City Thunder punched the Los Angeles Lakers tickets to the Western Conference Semifinals for the third straight season. Though it was the only two-points the bigman scored the entire second half, none of his seven other points were nearly as big. Kobe Bryant and company went 3-3 ATS in the six-game series. Their opponent, the Utah Jazz, closed the Denver Nuggets out in their house 112-104 as 6.5 point Game 6 home chalk. Utah is just 1-6 ATS the L/7 times it was a road underdog, and it’s had tons of trouble with HC Phil Jackson’s squad going just 5-15 SU & 7-12-1 ATS the L/20 overall meetings. The Lakers took three of their four meetings both SU & ATS against the Jazz this season, and cruised to a pair of Staples Center covers most recently winning 106-92 as 4.5-point chalk back on April 2nd. Utah last scored an outright win at LA way back in 2006.
