With Johan Santana on the hill, I know you don’t think OVER right away, but taking a closer look at the numbers, it looks pretty cut and dry. Santana is  0-3 lifetime against Atlanta.  Let’s take a look at some of the Braves top hitters career numbers vs. Santana: Chipper Jones (5-11), Matt Diaz (8-15), Kelly Johnson (6-14), and Brian McCann (5-13). The Braves are batting .301 as a team lifetime vs. the Mets ace.
 
Atlanta starter Derek Lowe has had a nice start to his season, but is coming off of his worst start last week against Florida in which he allowed 6 runs over 5 innings. Lifetime vs. the Mets, Lowe has simply been terrible, sporting a 1-2 record with an 8.78 ERA in eight appearances.
