North Carolina vs. Florida State
Florida State is off to their worst start this season in over 30 years. Three of the team’s four losing games have come on their home turf, including a 49-44 loss against Georgia Tech two weeks ago. It was the third loss in a row by the Seminoles, whose four losing games have all come by 10 points or less. Still, the team is 0-3 in conference play and the public is definitely not backing up Bowden on this one. As for the Tar Heels, they too, have yet to get a conference win. Most recently, the Tar Heels won over Georgia southern by a score of 42-12. This victory two weeks ago stopped a two game losing streak and improved the team’s record to 4-2 on the season. Florida State has 14-1-1 advantage over NC in the series, but these teams haven’t played in 5 years.
