Stanford (11-1 SU, 10-2 ATS, 6-6 O/U)

Defensively, the Cardinal shut down the run like crazy, ranking fifth in the country by holding their opponents to just 90.0 rushing yards per game.

Luck completed a blistering 70.0 percent of his passes this season while throwing 35 TD passes and just nine interceptions. Stanford is 10-11 all-time in bowl games but beat Virginia Tech 40-12 in last season’s Orange Bowl.

Oklahoma State (11-1 SU, 9-3 ATS, 4-6-2 O/U)
The Cowboys bounced back from their only loss of the season in its previous game to rout Oklahoma 44-10 in its regular season finale and put themselves in prime position to play LSU in the BCS title game.

After getting the shaft from the idiotic BCS Bowl committee, the Cowboys will look to pound the Cardinal unmercifully in this contest. Oklahoma State finished second in points scored this season (49.3 ypg) and second in passing as gifted quarterback Brandon Weeden outdid Luck by completing 72.6 percent of his passes for 4,328 yards with 35 TD passes and 12 interceptions.

Oklahoma State’s defense was mostly mediocre this season in finishing 61st in points allowed (25.8 ppg), 102nd in passing yards and 83rd against the run. The Cowboys are 13-8 all-time in bowl games and beat Arizona 36-10 in the 2010 Alamo Bowl.
