The Suns are starting to look like the Suns again. The crazy NBA post-lockout schedule has made a lot of teams struggle offensively as teams struggle to jell and learn to play together. This has created tons of very low totals. While many teams have improved defensively, including Phoenix, these very low totals are somewhat of an aberration and scoring should start to increase league-wide. Up until last week, the Suns had given up 100 only twice in nine games. However, they have now given up 100 in three straight games. And two of those games were to New Jersey and Cleveland, not exactly offensive world-beaters. As for Chicago, this is their fourth game in five nights and this team looked discombobulated last night in Memphis as they have up 102 to the Grizzlies. We just don’t see this team playing with the same defensive intensity that we are used to seeing. We lean to the Suns in this game and think they will be able to get some points tonight and with the way their defense is playing we think the Bulls will get their fair share too. This isn’t a game that is going to light up the scoreboard but with such a low total we don’t need that many points to cash this ticket.
