The Scoop: The Oakland Raiders (8-8 SU, 9-7 ATS) and Denver Broncos (4-12 SU, 5-10-1 ATS) will square off in a prime time AFC West matchup that will tell a lot about both teams as they move further into the 2011 NFL regular season.

The Raiders fired former head coach Tom Cable in favor of offensive-minded Hue Jackson and believe they can contend for the AFC West title as early as this season. The Broncos have a new head coach in former Carolina Panthers longtime leader John Fox and they are expecting to improve immediately despite nearly trading its best quarterback by far in veteran Kyle Orton.

Denver has lost three straight home games against their hated division rivals, including last season’s 59-14 blowout as a 7-point home favorite.
