The 22nd-ranked Texas Longhorns (7-4 SU, 6-5 ATS, 4-6-1 O/U) may have recorded one of the most exciting wins of the season in beating Texas A&M 27-25 in their last ever Big 12 matchup, but I’m going on record right now to say that the Longhorns don’t stand a chance of pulling off another upset when they visit the 17th-ranked Baylor Bears (8-3 SU, 6-4 ATS, 8-1-1 O/U) in a contest that will decide each team’s respective Bowl game fates. Texas cashed in against the Aggies as a 7.5-point road underdog to snap a two-game SU and ATS losing streak, but Baylor looked far more impressive in blowing out Texas Tech 66-42 to cash in as a 12-point home favorite and move to 2-0 ATS over its last two games and 3-1 ATS over its L/4 games overall.

Analysis: Let’s be for real Touthouse college football bettors and admit that the Texas Longhorns are not going to beat a team they clearly are inferior to. Baylor has scored a whopping 111 points over its last two games and a jaw-dropping 184 over its last four games overall – and those are offensive numbers that the Longhorns just won’t be able to keep up with in this contest. Texas’ two-headed quarterback system of David Ash and Case McCoy is nowhere near the caliber of quarterback that Baylor’s Robert Griffin brings to the table in this contest. Griffin has completed a stellar 72.7 percent of his passes this season while throwing 34 touchdown passes and just five interceptions. The Bears are 6-0 ATS in their last half-dozen road games and 4-0 ATS in their last fur games as a home favorite. The Road team in this series has gone 10-3 ATS in the L/13 meetings while Texas is just 1-5 ATS in their last six games as an underdog. Keep it simple and play the Baylor Bears to win big!
